Ramadan timings are calculated according to the lunar calendar, which is based on the sighting of the moon. Therefore, the Sehar and Iftar time schedule in Riyadh may vary from day to day. In Ramadan, the fast lasts from dawn until sunset, which can range from approximately 12 to 16 hours, but these timings can vary with respect to location and time.
